GAEM

Terms of Service

Last updated November 1, 2026

These are the rules for using GAEM. They're written in plain words, but they're a real agreement: by creating an account or using GAEM, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use GAEM.

Who can use GAEM

You must be 13 or older. If you're younger than the age at which your country lets you agree to this on your own, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

One account per person, and it's yours alone: don't share it or let anyone else use it. You're responsible for what's done with your account.

Your content

Your games, scores, reviews, shelves, bio and pictures are yours. By adding them, you let GAEM store them and show them to the people your settings allow, and count your scores (without your name) in the GAEMers' rating and the Global charts. That permission ends when you delete them or your account.

Only post what you have the right to post: for example, your own words and photos you're allowed to use.

The rules

Everywhere on GAEM (reviews, usernames, bios, pictures, shelves and notes):

If someone breaks the rules

GAEM's admin decides, case by case, what to do: remove content, block the account or delete it, with or without a warning depending on how serious it is. A blocked account can't log in, and its profile and posts disappear for everyone else.

Free, for now

GAEM is free today. If paid features ever come, you'll hear about it well in advance, and you'll never be charged for anything you didn't choose.

Other people's names and data

Game titles, covers and details come from IGDB (owned by Twitch), and every game belongs to its makers. The services on the Subscriptions page, and their names and logos, belong to their companies. GAEM isn't part of, or endorsed by, any of them.

What GAEM can't promise

GAEM is offered as it is. It's built with care, but it can have bugs, be down for a while, change or turn off features, or lose data despite its backups. As far as the law allows, GAEM isn't responsible for losses from using it or from it not working.

GAEM may also close one day. If it does, you'll be told in advance, with time to save your data.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time: open your profile, press Edit profile and choose Delete account at the bottom. The Privacy page explains what gets deleted.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change, the date at the top changes too, and important changes are announced in GAEM first. Using GAEM after a change means you accept the new Terms.

Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico.
